Baseball Recap: Kenston Bombers vs. Northview Wildcats
Kenston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-8 to the Northview Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kenston of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2022.
Graysen Bischof made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jack Latz was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Kenston's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Northview, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenston is on the road again on Monday to play North at 4:30 p.m. As for Northview, they will challenge Findlay at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Findlay's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Northview's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
