Basketball Recap: Neligh-Oakdale Comes Up Short

Neligh-Oakdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Bloomfield Bees 62-24. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Bees from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Bloomfield was led to victory by Keldon Loecker and Beau Eisenhauer. Loecker went 6-for-8 on his way to 14 points and three steals, while Eisenhauer went 6-for-8 to rack up 14 points. Thanks to that strong game, Eisenhauer now owns an excellent 45.8% shooting accuracy. Cody Smith also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Neligh-Oakdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Bloomfield, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.

Neligh-Oakdale has already played their next matchup (against Chambers/Wheeler Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bloomfield, they have already played their next game, a 60-51 victory against Creighton on the 13th.
