Volleyball Recap: Detroit Lakes Comes Up Short

Detroit Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the West Fargo Packers.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-6, 25-7.

Hailey Larson paced Detroit Lakes' offense, picking up five kills. Larson got some help from Ella Ramsey and her six assists. Madi Bjerke controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Detroit Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for West Fargo, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Detroit Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Rocori on the 30th. West Fargo has also already played their next matchup (against Fargo Davies), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
