Volleyball Recap: Cudahy Comes Up Short

Cudahy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Racine Park Panthers. The Packers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Cudahy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Racine Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Cudahy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Whitnall at 6:30 p.m. on October 7. As for Racine Park, they will square off against Milwaukee Reagan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
