Decatur had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Memorial Mavericks. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Decatur had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 29-31, 25-17, 25-22, 25-23.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Memorial, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 17-1.

Coming up, Decatur will take on McKinney Christian Academy in a tournament on Thursday. As for Memorial, they will be taking part in a tournament against Colleyville Heritage at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
