When it comes to explaining why Aquinas lost on Saturday, don't look at Samantha Davis. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds. The match was Davis' seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ava Fernholz, who posted 13 points.

Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Cuba City, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.
