Skyline comes up short despite Jc Ameca's dominant performance

The Skyline Coyotes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 72-62 to Red Mountain. Skyline has struggled against Red Mountain recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Skyline lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jc Ameca. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Joseph Fulkerson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and three steals.

Bryce Bigler was a one-man wrecking crew for Red Mountain as he scored 26 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bigler has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gage Lindsey, who scored nine points along with two steals.

Skyline has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Red Mountain, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Skyline will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mesa at 7:00 p.m. Mesa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Red Mountain, they will head out on the road to challenge Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Mountain View is ranked 105th, while Red Mountain is ranked 116th).
