Football Game Recap: Grady/San Jon vs. Lake Arthur

After having lost a blowout to Vaughn in their previous game, Grady/San Jon was happy to find some success on Friday. Grady/San Jon snuck past Lake Arthur with a 76-71 win. Lake Arthur can consider this payback for the 27-34 loss they dealt Grady/San Jon the last time the teams encountered one another.

Grady/San Jon's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 44 points in the first half. Lake Arthur came up with 32 to make it 44-32 heading into the break. Grady/San Jon were outperformed in the second half 32-39 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the contest. The victory bumped their record up to 0-1. The defeat dropped Lake Arthur's record to 0-1.

Next week, Grady/San Jon take on Hondo Valley at 6:00 PM. Lake Arthur are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Springer/Maxwell next week at 7:00 PM.
