Preview: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Mosley Dolphins

The Crestview Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mosley Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After a string of three wins, Crestview's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Booker T. Washington, falling 67-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crestview has scored all season.

Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Mosley, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-29 loss to Choctawhatchee on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Mosley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Choctawhatchee is ranked 79th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Sherilyn Sanchez, who scored six points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that she pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mandi Grontas, who scored 12 points.

Crestview dropped their record down to 11-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Mosley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Crestview took their win against Mosley when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 50-24. With Crestview ahead 38-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
