Basketball Recap: Carey Panthers vs. Shoshone Indians
Carey took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 60-28 win over the Shoshone Indians. With the Panthers ahead 32-10 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Carey was led to victory by Preston Wood and Carter Olsen. Wood dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Olsen almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. The game was Wood's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stockton Sears, who posted five points in addition to two steals.
Carey will be playing at home against Rockland at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shoshone, they will head out to take on Hagerman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Shoshone will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
