Basketball Game Preview: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Evergreen Wolverines

The Inglemoor Vikings will take on the Evergreen Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Inglemoor lost to Issaquah on the road by a 71-56 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite their loss, Inglemoor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aman Sterling, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The matchup was Sterling's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Evergreen fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Sultan by a score of 60-52 on Monday.

Evergreen's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Inglemoor, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
