Soccer Recap: William Penn vs. Newark Charter School
After flying high against Mount Pleasant last Tuesday, William Penn came back down to earth. The William Penn Colonials took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newark Charter School Patriots on Saturday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Colonials couldn't quite close it out.
William Penn's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Newark Charter School, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-2.
William Penn will face off against Odessa at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newark Charter School, they will square off against Archmere Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
