Soccer Recap: Ford Takes a Loss

Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Sunnyvale, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sunnyvale this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in February.

Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Sunnyvale, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Coming up, Ford will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Kemp at 5:30 p.m. Ford will be up against Kemp's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.14 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sunnyvale, they are taking a road trip to challenge Community at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Sunnyvale's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.
