Basketball Game Preview: North Henderson Knights vs. Pisgah Bears

North Henderson has gone 8-2 against Pisgah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The North Henderson Knights will look to defend their home court against the Pisgah Bears at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

North Henderson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Smoky Mountain 57-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Knights have posted against the Mustangs since December 13, 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Henderson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Titus Moore, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Moore is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hudson, who went 5 of 8 to rack up 11 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Pisgah suffered their biggest loss since February 27, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against East Henderson, falling 88-58. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pisgah's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for North Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

North Henderson was able to grind out a solid victory over Pisgah in their previous matchup back in January, winning 56-49. Does North Henderson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pisgah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
