Volleyball Recap: Muskegon Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Muskegon Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sacred Heart Academy.

While Muskegon Catholic Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-23.

Molly Caughey paced Muskegon Catholic Central's offense, picking up six kills. Caughey got some help from Emily Muskovin and her 13 assists. Sophia Muskovin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Muskegon Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-23. As for Sacred Heart Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 26-5-1.
