Basis Independent Silicon Valley had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

While Basis Independent Silicon Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Justin Wang and Guanghan (Googan) Cao, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Andrew Li and his 27 assists. Harry Tan controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
