Live Oak proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Prospect Panthers a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 back in March.

Kayla Tulowitzki was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Live Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Prospect, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 15-5 record.

Live Oak has already played their next game, a 13-1 win against Pioneer on the 12th. As for Prospect, they will take on Del Mar at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
