Softball Recap: Cedar Reds vs. Timpanogos Timberwolves

Cedar had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Timpanogos Timberwolves 9-7. Winning may never get old, but Cedar sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Sadie Parson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 12 consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Mya Bishoff was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Marley Geddes, who went 1-for-3 with a home run and a stolen base.
