Volleyball Game Preview: Bryant Hornets vs. Har-Ber Wildcats

The Bryant Hornets will square off against the Har-Ber Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bryant has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Har-Ber will arrive with three straight wins.

On Thursday, Bryant came up short against Southside and fell 3-1.

Bryant started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Har-Ber made easy work of Rogers Heritage on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Har-Ber took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

Har-Ber's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Bryant, their loss dropped their record down to 9-19-3.

Bryant might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Har-Ber in their previous meeting back in October of 2020. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
