Basketball Recap: Cusick Comes Up Short

Cusick lost against Republic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cusick Panthers lost 55-31 to the Republic Tigers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cusick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Republic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cusick and Selkirk will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Republic, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Republic Tigers challenge the Curlew Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Curlew will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Republic surely won't give up without a fight.
