North White has no trouble against South Newton

Recap: North White Vikings vs. South Newton Rebels

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rensselaer Central, the North White Vikings were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They put the hurt on South Newton with a sharp 38-14 win. That looming 38-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for North White yet this season.

North White found their leader in underclassman Autumn Reif, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Reif has scored at least 25% of North White's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Tribbett, who scored four points along with four steals.

North White's win bumped their record up to 2-15. As for South Newton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North White will take on Clinton Prairie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Prairie is on a six-game streak of home losses, North White a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. South Newton will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Milford at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th.
