Basketball Recap: United South Central Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for United South Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Medford Tigers on Tuesday as the United South Central Rebels made off with a 71-47 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

United South Central's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Medford, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. United South Central will head out to challenge Blooming Prairie at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. United South Central is facing Blooming Prairie at the right time seeing as Blooming Prairie is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Medford, they will head out on the road to face off against Minnesota Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
