Baseball Recap: Skyridge Comes Up Short

Skyridge was the 11-3 winner over Dixie when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Skyridge Falcons lost 13-3 to the Dixie Flyers on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Max Johanson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Skyridge fell to 2-1. As for Dixie, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyridge will face off against East at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dixie, they will square off against Park City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dixie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
