Basketball Recap: Roswell Takes a Loss

If Roswell was riding high fresh off their 85-48 takedown of Seckinger last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roswell Hornets had to suffer through a 70-36 loss at the hands of the Milton Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Eagles are ranked 42nd).

Londyn Walker was her usual excellent self, putting up 29 points for Milton. The dominant performance gave Walker a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deyva Davis, who posted 17 points.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Milton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Roswell nor Milton have any future games scheduled.
