Softball Recap: Russellville Cyclones vs. Harrison Goblins

Russellville never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Harrison on Friday. They never let the Goblins get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The game was the first time the Cyclones have beaten the Goblins on their field since April 13, 2017.

Abigail Blythe was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Blythe was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Addison Crain was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Brooklynn Hayes was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs and one RBI.
