Softball Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

Comer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Montevallo Bulldogs, falling 13-3. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 20-17.

J Yoder was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Nema Holley was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Montevallo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Comer will face off against Thorsby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montevallo, they will challenge Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
