Softball Recap: Pasadena Comes Up Short

Pasadena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Porter Spartans, falling 16-1.

Pasadena's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Porter, they pushed their record up to 10-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Pasadena will face off against Splendora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Splendora has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.56 runs per game on average), something Pasadena will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Porter, they will challenge Crosby at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Crosby's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Porter's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
