Volleyball Recap: Wildwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wildwood lost against Central back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bears, falling 3-0.

Wildwood was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-15.

Wildwood has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wildwood will square off against South Sumter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will challenge Nature Coast Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
