Baseball Recap: St. John's Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, St. John rose to the challenge on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors 2-1. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

St. John's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-9.

Coming up, St. John's will challenge Boston College High on Wednesday. The Pioneers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Lincoln-Sudbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
