It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Savannah Arts Academy can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morgan County Bulldogs on Saturday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Savannah Arts Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Jaqua, who had eight digs and three aces, and Maddie Storck, who had six digs.

Abby Dennard was nothing short of spectacular for Morgan County: she had 35 kills, 13 digs, three aces, and one block. Dennard has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Graycen Cawthon, who had 11 digs, seven kills, and two aces.

Savannah Arts Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-29. As for Morgan County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 32-12.

Savannah Arts Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morgan County, they will take on Ringgold at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
