Softball Recap: Westland Comes Up Short

Westland fell victim to Westerville North and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 16-0 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 two weeks ago.

This is the second loss in a row for Westland and nudges their season record down to 4-16. As for Westerville North, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westland will square off against Westerville South at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westerville North, they will challenge Lincoln at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
