Woodford County won against East Jessamine last Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets had just enough and edged out the Rowan County Vikings 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Addie Bryant, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Woodford County's victory bumped their record up to 13-9-1. As for Rowan County, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodford County will host Southwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rowan County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Henry Clay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
