Basketball Recap: Baldwin-Woodville Has No Trouble Against River Falls

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barron, Baldwin-Woodville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the River Falls Wildcats with a sharp 47-27 win. Given the Blackhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Baldwin-Woodville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for River Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin-Woodville will be home for the holidays to greet Ellsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for River Falls, they will host Eau Claire Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Eau Claire Memorial will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something River Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
