Basketball Recap: Durant Takes a Loss

Durant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 47-38 to the Edison Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-42 back in December of 2024.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Edison, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Durant will host Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Memorial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Durant likes a good challenge. As for Edison, they will welcome McAlester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
