 Plainview scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  in Monday's  first game. Everything went their way against the Pleasant Hill Eagles as the Plainview Hornets made off with  a  26-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Plainview, who have now won 12 games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Gavin Fee made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Fee was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Brennon Johnson was a standout: he got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  runs, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last eight games he's  played.  Tanner Doyle was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with six  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double.
 The  win was  the fifth in a row for Plainview, bringing their record for this year to 14-15. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.8 runs per game. As for Pleasant Hill, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Plainview beat Pleasant Hill by a score of  14-4 later that day.
