Baseball Recap: Frazier Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Frazier came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Commodores, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Chase Fulmer was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Frazier is 3-1 when Fulmer posts two or more runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Dailan McManus was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Frazier was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Frazier back to even at 5-5. As for Chartiers-Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frazier will face off against Monessen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Commodores are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Chartiers-Houston, they will challenge Yough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
