Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Winneshiek). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 79-30 victory over the Postville Pirates. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for South Winneshiek and bumps their season record up to 10-12. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points over those games. As for Postville, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with the loss, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, South Winneshiek will head out on the road to face off against Denver on Tuesday. Postville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
