Basketball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by the Yates Lions 100-36. The Panthers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Yates, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will host Worthing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Worthing has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 258 points over their last three games. Yates has already played their next match (against Washington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
