Polson owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They blew past the Libby Loggers 7-0. Considering the Pirates have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Polson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Libby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
