Volleyball Game Preview: Seattle Prep Panthers vs. Roosevelt Roughriders

The Seattle Prep Panthers will take on the Roosevelt Roughriders at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Seattle Prep's victory against Mercer Island wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Islanders 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Islanders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt hadn't done well against Eastside Catholic recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Roughriders blew past the Crusaders 3-0.

One reason for the win was Roosevelt's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Seattle Prep now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
