Basketball Recap: Canby Takes a Loss

Canby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders, falling 77-51.

Canby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lake Park-Audubon, they moved to 3-8 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Canby and Lake Park-Audubon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Canby (ranked 362nd) will meet Renville County West (ranked 74th) at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Meanwhile, Lake Park-Audubon will square off against Fertile-Beltrami at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025 down 177 places (249 vs. 72).
