Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Linsly School). Everything went their way against the Edison Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 10-1 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering The Linsly School's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 52nd in West Virginia, while Edison are ranked 532nd in Ohio).

The win was the third in a row for The Linsly School, bringing their record up to 5-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three contests. As for Edison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

The Linsly School will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wheeling Park at 8:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Edison, they will challenge Oak Glen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
