Recap: Trinity Prep Saints vs. Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks

With a playoff game on the line, the Trinity Prep Saints rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-51 win over the Ducks. The victory was some much needed relief for Trinity Prep as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Trinity Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Neil Mathow, who scored 16 points along with two steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mathow has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrien Quiros, who scored 16 points.

Trinity Prep's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

Trinity Prep will face off against Windermere Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Prep is coming into the contest with three straight wins on the road, meaning Windermere Prep will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Cornerstone Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
