There's no place like home for Plano, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Mendota Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Reapers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

While Plano won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Natalia Olson paced Plano's offense, picking up six kills. Olson got some help from Camila Nunez and her 13 assists.

Plano's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Mendota, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Plano has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Flanagan-Cornell on the 13th. As for Mendota, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Erie-Prophetstown on the 16th.
