Basketball Recap: Elevation Prep Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Elevation Prep Academy needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from HARVEY BEDELL. The Elevation Prep Academy Honey Badgers walked away with a 73-63 victory over the Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs on Monday thanks in part to BEDELL, who posted 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January.

The team also got some help courtesy of LONNIE DELOATCH, who put up 11 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Elevation Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Quality Education Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Elevation Prep Academy and Quality Education Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Elevation Prep Academy (ranked 545th) will meet Victory Christian Center (ranked 64th) at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Quality Education Academy (ranked 101st) will meet The Rock National (ranked fourth) at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
