Recap: Freeman Scotties vs. Colville Crimson Hawks
The Freeman Scotties were the 52-26 winner over the Colville Crimson Hawks when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Freeman fell 52-42 to Colville on Friday.
Despite the defeat, Freeman saw an underclassman step up: Taylee Phelps scored 20 points. The contest was Phelps' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Gass, who scored six points.
Freeman has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Colville, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Colville will be home for the holidays to greet Tonasket at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
