Baseball Recap: TMI-Episcopal Takes a Loss

TMI-Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elgin Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three runs.

TMI-Episcopal got a big performance out of Brock Grullon, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Grullon has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ankith Padala, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

TMI-Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Elgin, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

TMI-Episcopal will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Llano at 2:00 p.m. As for Elgin, they will face off against Oak Ridge at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
