Basketball Recap: ARC Academy Takes a Loss

ARC Academy lost against Mount Olive Christian back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The ARC Academy Warriors took a hard 54-40 fall against Mount Olive Christian. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Rodgers was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds for Mount Olive Christian. The match was Rodgers' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasey Gantt, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.

ARC Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Mount Olive Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-9.

ARC Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-26 win against Cornerstone Christian Academy on the 23rd. As for Mount Olive Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 31-26 loss against Faith Training Christian Academy on the 24th.
