Soccer Recap: Nimitz Takes a Loss

Nimitz managed to keep up with Alief Elsik until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Nimitz Cougars came up short against the Alief Elsik Rams, falling 6-2. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Nimitz's record now sits at 0-3. As for Alief Elsik, they pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

When Nimitz and Alief Elsik next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Nimitz will challenge Randle and their four-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Alief Elsik will try to stop Alief Hastings' three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
