Basketball Game Preview: Lovejoy Wildcats vs. Morrow Mustangs

Two dominant guards in Noah Banks and Dayton Harris are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Lovejoy Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Morrow Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Morrow is hoping to do what Academy for Classical Education couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Lovejoy's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Lovejoy blew past Academy for Classical Education, posting a 73-38 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Gryphons are ranked 447th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Morrow had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 65-61 W over Heritage on Saturday.

Morrow's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Lovejoy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
